Mrs. Marie Kracman Died at the Home of Daughter. Linwood, July 21 - Mrs. Marie Kracman, resident of Linwood and vicinity for many years, widow of the late Frank Kracman, died on Wednesday, July 15, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Dorsey, near Linwood, with whom she had made her home since October, 1930. Her age was 83 years, 3 months and 15 days. Death was from complications of old age and cancer of the stomach. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic church, Linwood, by Rev. Victor Mlejnek, of Abie. The Requiem High Mass was sung by St. Mary's church choir. The pallbearers were grandsons of Mrs. Kracman, were William Kracman, Will Spatz, Albin Kracman, Longin Rezac, Louis Dorsey and Edward Dorsey. Mrs. Kracman was born in Budech, Czechoslovakia, March 15, 1848. She was married to Frank Kracman in the old country, and in the early 70's came to the United States and Nebraska, Mr. Kracman homesteading land six miles southeast of Linwood. They retired from the farm about 20 years ago and moved to Linwood. Mr. Kracman passed away about ten years ago. Nine children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Kracman. Seven children, three daughters and four sons, survive. They are Mrs. Anton Spatz of Brainard, Mrs. Frank Belik of Chambers, Mrs. George Dorsey of Linwood, Rudolph Kracman of Malmo and Joseph, Louis and Fred Kracman, living near Linwood. One daughter, Mrs. Louis Rezac, and one son, Emil Kracman, died several years ago. Mrs. Kracman is survived also by 41 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, and by one sister, Mrs. Barbara Coufal of Brainard. Mrs. Kracman was a kind woman and was respected by all who knew her.
