Married Marie Rezac on November 12, 1895 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Abie, Nebr. ''''''''''''''''' The People's Banner (David City, Nebr.), November 30, 1950, p. 6, col. 6 Abie Resident Died At Age of 80 Years Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 22 at St. Peter and Paul’s Catholic church in Abie for Louis V. Kracman, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Rosie Didier, near David City. Mr. Kracman was 80 years old at the time of his death, Nov. 19. Services were conducted at 9:00 o’clock with the Rev. Boniface Tomek officiating. The Abie church choir furnished the music. Pallbearers, all nephews of the deceased, were: Jerry Kracman, William Kracman, Louis Dorsey, Raymond Spatz and Longin and Leonard Rezac. Burial was in the Abie Catholic cemetery. Mr. Kracman, the son of Frank and Mary Kracman, was born in September 1870. He came to Butler county in the year 1871. On Nov. 12, 1895 he was married to Mary A. Rezac in the St. Peter and Paul’s church in Abie. To this union were born four daughters, Barbara Kracman of Denver, Colo., Mary Kracman of Omaha, Libby Kracman of Seward and Mrs. Rosie Didier of near David City; seven sons, one preceding him in death, Emil of Linwood, Albin of Ogallala, Leonard of Bellwood, Joe of Linwood, Louis of Bruno and Ben of Schuyler. He is also survived by two brothers, Fred of Linwood and Rudolph of Wahoo; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Belik of Page and Mrs. Anton Spatz of Brainard; and 13 grandchildren, six granddaughters and seven grandsons. Mrs. Kracman died August 7, 1933. Mr. Kracman had been a farmer all his life. He was a member of St. Peter and Paul’s church, Abie, and a member of the Z.C.B.J. lodge.
