Born April 3, 1847 at Matějov #23, Okres Žďár nad Sázavou, Vysočina, Czechia, and baptized April 4, the daughter of František Růžička and his wife Apolena Chalupová. Married Joseph Ustohal on May 17, 1870 at Domašov, Okres Brno-venkov, South Moravia, Czechia. '''''''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), August 31, 1922, p. 7, col. 3 Linwood Mrs. Frances Ustohal, wife of Joseph Ustohal, passed away at her home Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 22, folloiwng a stroke of paralysis. Mrs. Ustohal had been an invalid for several years. At time of death she was 74 years, 4 months and 19 days of age. She was a pioneer of Butler county, having lived in and around Linwood about 50 years. Funeral services were held in the Catholic church on Thursday, Aug. 24. Interment was in the Linwood Catholic cemetery. Mrs. Ustohal is survived by her husband and six children, Joseph Ustohal of Omaha, Anton Ustohal of Hemingford, Frank and Julius Ustohal of Linwood, Mrs. Fred Plotz of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Mrs. Fred Faytinger of David City, and by two sisters, Mrs. Anna Cihacek of Linwood and one who lives in Oklahoma.
