Frances Hajdik Funeral Service Here Monday Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Ann Hajdik, 75, of Sealy, were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 3, from the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with the Rev. Paul McCallum celebrating the mass of the resurrection. The KJZT Society of Sealy prayed the rosary Sunday at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Pete E. Etlinger Funeral Home, followed by the parish rosary at 7:00 p.m. Pallbearers for the service were Willie Hajdik, Ben Hajdik, Virgil Hajdik, Arthur Hajdik, Alvin Holub, and Charles Hinze. Interment was in the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery. Miss Frances Ann Orsak was born on February 24, 1911 in the Mixville community. She was raised in the Mixville community and also attended school in Mixville. On November 12, 1929, she married Willie C. Hajdik in Frydek and spent the rest of her life as a homemaker in Sealy. Mrs. Hajdik was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and also the KJZT Society of Sealy. Mrs. Hajdik died October 31 in the Methodist Hospital of Houston. Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Henrietta Holub of Wallis, Mrs. Gloria Strahan of Houston, Mrs. Bernadette Winfield of Houston, Mrs. Frances Hinze of Sealy, Mrs. Beatrice Kiker of Houston, Mrs. Gladys Lewandowski of Houston; sons, Willie Hajdik of Wallis, Ben J. Hajdik of Sealy, Virgil F. Hajdik of Sealy, and Arthur P. Hajdik of Houston; sisters, Mrs. Mary Zapalac of Sealy, Mrs. Emily Hajdik of Sealy, Mrs. Louise Gajewski of Sealy, Mrs. Agnes Dycus of Sealy, and Mrs. Annie Hosak of Sealy; one brother, Joe Orsak of Dayton; 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Orsak; her husband, Willie C. Hajdik; and three brothers. Funeral services were held under the direction of the Pete R. Etlinger Funeral Home of Sealy.
