Son of Josef and Francis Pavlicek Orsak. Married Mary Prokop Apr 4, 1921 in Austin County, Texas. OBITUARY FROM THE LIBERTY VINDICATOR, Wednesday, January 17, 1990 Joseph Bernard Orsak EASTGATE--Services for Joseph Bernard Orsak, 91, were held Monday, Jan. 15, 1990 at St. Anne's Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. Paul Fee officiating. Burial was at Eastgate Catholic Cemetery under direction of Sterling Funeral Home. Mr. Orsak died Friday at Renaissance Place Nursing Center in Katy. He was born in Live Oak Hill, Fayette County, and had been a resident of Eastgate 70 years. He was a retired farmer and member of St. Anne's Catholic Church of Eastgate. Survivors include four sons, Albert Orsak of Pasadena, Leon Orsak of Houston, Charles Orsak of Pearland and Wilfred Orsak of Houston; a daughter, Annie Beran of Houston; four sisters, Louise Gajewski, Annie Hosak, Mary Zapalac and Agnes Dycus all of Sealy; 22 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
