Married Feb 4 1948 Ord, Valley, NE ---------------------------------------------------- Clara Krikac Services Oct. 31 Clara Krikac was born May 20, 1914 in Valley County to Kajetan and Sophia Kapustka Setlik and died October 28, 1988 at the Lakeview Nursing Home in Grand Island, Nebraska at the age of 74. She was raised in Valley County and attended rural schools. After her education she helped care for her brothers and sisters at home. She married Charles Krikac February 4, 1948 at Ord, and they farmed in the Geranium township of western Valley County. In later years they retired and moved into Ord, Charles died in 1962. Clara continued to live in Ord. She was a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church at Ord. Survivors include one step-son, Gary Krikac of Burwell; three sisters Helen Dubas of Grand Island, Bernice Vodehnal of Comstock, Florence Zadina of Ord; two brothers, Mike Setlik of Loup City, and Adrian of Sacramento, CA; a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, three sisters and one step-son. Funeral services were held Monday, October 31, 1988 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Stanley Gorak officiating. Burial was in the Ord Catholic Cemetery.
