Son of Vaclav "Vincent" Kruml (b.~1844 CZ, d. 1884-1900 USA) ------------------------------------------ James Kruml, 74, Passes Tuesday James M. Kruml, age 74 years, four months and 30 days, died at his home in Ord Tuesday morning after poor health suffered for many months past. He was the father of Lt. Col. J. G. Kruml, now on duty in England, of Frank of Burwell, Mrs. Marie Carkoski of Ord, Ed of Ericson, and George and Lillian of this city. Three other children are now dead, Mrs. Agnes LeMaster, and Eddie and James, who died when infants. He also leaves to mourn his good wife, and some 16 grandchildren, as well as hosts of friends, for he was a well known and well respected resident of this county since about 1897. Mr. Kruml was born Dec. 10, 1869 in Koutu, Czechoslovakia. He came to Omaha as a boy. In 1896 he married Rosezalia Krejci and shortly after they moved to St. Paul, but after a year there they came to Valley county and have lived here ever since that time. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday morning at ten o'clock at the Catholic church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Ord, with Rev. T. Siudowski in charge.
