Born in the village of Kluky, county of Caslav, Bohemia, Austrian Empire (now in Czechia). Married Anton Oboril on June 30, 1896 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Abie, Nebr. '''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), June 12, 1924, p. 1, col. 3 FUNERAL WAS HELD THURSDAY Last Rites for Mrs. A. F. Oboril, Who Passed Away Tuesday, June 3. Funeral services for Mrs. A. F. Oboril, who passed away at the David City hospital early Tuesday morning, June 3, after illness of a month, were held at St. Mary's Catholic church, David City, of which church Mrs. Oboril was a member, at 10 o'clock Thursday morning, June 5. Rev. Father Bauer of Bruno and Rev. B. Sproll and Rev. Cadek of David City had charge of the funeral services. The pallbearers were Frank Barcal, James Bruner, Joseph Kubik, Joseph Micholan, Anton Styskal and Mike Styksal, Sr. Burial was in St. Mary's Catholic cemetery, David City. Attendance at the funeral was very large and floral offerings were numerous and beautiful, showing the high esteem in which Mrs. Oboril was held by her many friends. In attendance at the funeral from away were Mr. and Mrs. John Sokol and Mr. and Mrs. John Demel of Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kubik of Fullerton, Mr. and Mrs. James Zakovec of Morse Bluffs, Mr. and Mrs. Luke Bartek of Valparaiso, Mrs. John Kubik of Schuyler and Frank Novacek of Pender. Mrs. Oboril was in her 46th year at time of her death. She was born in Czechoslovakia, Sept, 20, 1878, and came to the United States and Butler county at age of two years with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Komarek. Her maiden name was Winnie Komarek. She was married to Mr. Oboril in Abie June 30, 1897. They lived on a farm near Abie until moving to the present Oboril farm, two miles southeast of David City, three years ago. Mr. Oboril and one daughter survive Mrs. Oboril. The daughter is Mrs. M. F. Styskal, who resides two miles east of David City. Mrs. Oboril also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Frank Barcal, Mrs. Joseph Macholan and Mrs. James Bruner. _____ Card of Thanks - We wish to thank our many relatives, neighbors and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy, for their help and for the beautiful floral offerings sent us during recent bereavement.
