Married Vaclav Siroky on October 8, 1901 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Abie, Nebr. ''''''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), April 24, 1924, p. 5, col. 3 Abie Woman Died Suddenly. Abie, Apri 22- Mrs. James Siroky died suddenly on Tuesday afternoon, April 15, about 2 o'clock. Death was due to dropsy, from which Mrs. Siroky suffered but was never seriously ill She had done all her housework that day and not feeling well she lay down after dinner, and was found dead later. Mrs. Siroky was well known and liked by everyone who knew her. She was in her 46th year. Her maiden name was Josephine Hamsa. She is survived b her husband, one son, Jerold, and one daughter, Mrs. Frank Pope, also one grandson, three brothers and six sisters. The brothers and sisters are Jerold Hamsa of Abie, Frank Hamas of Linwood, Joseph Hamsa of Gresham, Mrs. Reinhardt of David City, Mrs. Matulka of Gresham, Mrs. Cemper of David City, Mrs. Svoboda of Weston, Mrs. Styskal of North Dakota and Mrs. Joseph Siroky of Abie. Funeral services were held in the Catholi church and interment was in the Catholic cemetery at Abie. Those in attendance at the funeral from elsewhere, besides the brothers and sisters, were Mr. and Mrs. Anton Pelan of Ulysses, Mrs. Albin Kavan of Morse Bluff, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Pocl of Linwood and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Brecka of Prague.
