Graveside service for Barker Ray Bounds, Sr. 67, of Broken Bow, Okla., was to be March 8, at the Holly Creek Cemetery in Broken Bow. The Rev. Melvin Gibson was to officiate. Bounds died March 6, 2000, in Broken Bow. He was born Nov. 20, 1932, in Broken Bow. Bounds was an aircraft machinist for many years in Texas and returned to Broken Bow three years ago. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Broken Bow and enjoyed bowling and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Edgar Bounds and Mary Elizabeth Brewer Bounds, two sisters, two brothers and one daughter. Bounds is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen of Broken Bow; four children, Lou Ellen Klick of Irving, Linda Sue Meador of Decatur, Barker Ray Bounds, Jr., of Boyd and Billy Joe Bounds of Eagletown, Okla.; a sister, Margie Sorrels of Holly Creek, Okla.; a brother, Delbert Bounds of Paris; and nine grandchildren.
