Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), July 17, 1924, p. 8, col. 3 Abie Mrs. Cyril and Mrs. Louis Kaspar of Prague attended the funeral of their grandmother, Mrs. Vaclav Vavrina, Wednesday, July 9. Mrs. Vaclav Vavrina of Abie, passed away Monday evening, July 7, following illness of a few weeks. She had been in the Prague hospital for a few days preceding her death. Funeral services were held at Sts. Peter's and Paul's Catholic church Wednesday morning, July 9, at 10 o'clock.
