Funeral services were held in St. Peter's and Paul's Catholic church in Abie Sunday afternoon, at 2:00 o'clock. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery. '''''''''''''' Wahoo Democrat (Wahoo, Nebr.), May 27, 1926, p. 4, col. 2 Abie News The funeral services of Mrs. Anna Sobotka, of Abie, were held at the St. Peter's and Paul's church at Abie Sunday, May 16. Mrs. Sobotka was laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery here. Rev. Victor Mlejnek delivered the oration on behalf of the deceased. Previous to her death Mrs. Sobotka had been ill only a few days. Mrs. Sobotka has lived in this vicinity for the last quarter century. Many people attended the services. Those left to mourn her death are her husband, a son, Mr. Frank Sobotka, and six daughters, Mrs. Joseph Vidlock of Fremont, Mrs. Frank Vidlock of Fremont, Mrs. H. B. Semrad, Mrs. J. J. Semrad, Mrs. James Stuchl, Jr., and Mrs. Louis Sklenar, all of Abie.
