The People's Banner (David City, Nebr.), January 27, 1949, p. 5, col. 2 DEATH OF FRANK SOBOTKA Frank Sobotka, 64 years old, a lifetime resident of Butler county, died on Tuesday, Jan. 18, at St. Mary’s hospital, Columbus. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vaclav Sobotka, born and reared on a farm near Octavia. After the death of his parents 22 years ago, he made his home with his sister, Mrs. Jas. Stuchl. He entered the hospital Nov. 27 1948, whre he died Jan. 18, 1949. Six sisters survive: Mrs. Mary Semard, Mrs. Anna Semrad, Mrs. Christie Vidlak, Mrs. Josie Sklenar and Mrs. Albina Stuchl, all of Linwood, and Mrs. Frances Vidlak of Fremont. The Rev. Boniface Tomek officiated at the funeral rites held at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic church at Abie. Burial was made in the Abie Catholic cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Emil Semrad, Emil Walla, Miles Hajek, Ernest Pernicek, Ernest Sklenar and Jerry Pavel. __ CARD OF THANKS We wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all our friends and neighbors, and especially to Rev.
