Born in house #20, Hrotovice, the daughter of Horky and his wife Franciska Kratochvil. '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' People's Banner (David City, Nebr.), June 16, 1904, p. 4, col. 2 Linwood Mrs. Juranek who lives about six miles south east of this place has sustained a had injury on her foot sometime ago by stepping upon a rusty nail. It was perhaps a neglect to call a surgeon until advance of the case, so when Dr. Drasky was summoned he found the case in a bad condition. It will take the aged lady quite a while of suffering before it will be well again for she is over 60 years old. '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' Peoples's Banner, June 23, 1904, p. 4, col. 3 Linwood Mrs. Frank Juranek of whom we spoke last week, died Monday morning. She was 64 years of age, born in Bohemia and moved in to this country about 25 years ago. The deceased leaves 10 children, 5 of whom are sons and 5 daughters, all grown up and provided for. Her remains were interrred in the Catholic cemetery in Abie, Wednesday forenoon.
