Bio
Married Anton Policky on June 7, 1898 at Brainard, Nebr. by Rev. Alois J. Klein, Catholic priest. They farmed in "A" Precinct, Seward county, Nebr. In the 1930s they retired and turned management of the farm over to sons, Charlie and Jim, but continued to reside on the farm. '''''''''''''''''' The Banner-Press (David City, Nebr.), January 27, 1966, p. 2, col. 5 Funeral Services Held for Mrs. Anna Policky Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 21, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Bee, for Mrs. Anna K. Policky, 88, who died Wednesday, Jan. 19 at Goldsmith Nursing Home following a lingering illness. The Rev. John Prachar officiated. The St. Wenceslaus Church choir provided the music. Pallbearers were Ray and Alfred Kotera, Ronnie and Jimmy Policky and Gary and Eddie Eickner, all grandsons. Burial was in Dwight Assumption Cemetery. Anna K. Shalon, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Shalon, was born March 26, 1877. She was united in marriage to Anton Policky on June 6, 1898, at Abie. Surviving are four sons, Anton, Charles, James and Leo of Omaha; three daughters, Mrs. James (Anne) Vrbsky, Mrs. Louis (Marie) Kotera of Bee and Mrs. Edwin (Julia) Eickner of Omaha; two sisters, Mrs. Antonia Plisek and Mrs. Agnes Busek, both of Bee; 22 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
