MATULKA Alois A. Matulka, 83, of David City died Wednesday, July 4, at St. Joseph's Villa. Mr. Matulka was born May 4, 1918, at Dwight to Frank and Anna (Bartek) Matulka. He graduated from Assumption High School in Dwight. He married Mildred (Bures) Sedlacek August 15, 1986, in David City. He lived in the Dwight area and in David City since 1986. He was a retired farmer and cattle feeder. He was a former member of Assumption Catholic Church in Dwight. Survivors include his wife, a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Ann of David City, sister, Agnes Bohuslavsky of David City, a stepson and wife, Gary and Judy Sedlacek of Boulder, Colorado, stepdaughter and husband, Cindy and Brad Behmer of Kansas City, Missouri, six step grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Frank and Sylvester and three sisters, Katherine Kliment, Antionette Fiedler and Marcella Furasek. Services Saturday, July 7, at Assumption Catholic Church. Burial in the parish cemetery.
