William A. "Bill" Dlabaj, 100, of Ennis, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, August 27, 2012, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Father John Dick as celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday, August 26, 2012, with a Rosary at 6 p.m. at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis. He was born in Crisp, Texas, to the late Theodore and Josephine (Knize) Dlabaj. Willie married Anna Cecelia Horak on November 18, 1936 in Ennis, Texas. He owned and operated W.A. Dlabaj Motor Company for years and is a long-standing member of St. John Catholic Church and KJT. Willie was preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years, Anna Dlabaj; brother, John; and sisters, Annie, Josephine, and Agnes. He is survived by his daughters, Pauline Lanicek and her husband, Wesley, of Ennis, and Betty Valek and her husband, Michael, of Dallas; son, David Dlabaj, of Ennis; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; six great- great-grandchildren; sister, Janie Nemec, of Canyon, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Dora; and pet, Chico.
