Musetta May Grubaugh was born 10 Sep 1880 in NE to William Jefferson Grubaugh and Josephine Abney. She was the 2nd of 5 children (all girls) born to this couple. Two of the girls, including her older sister, died between the ages of 1 and 2. Musetta married Herbert Ernest Bunting on 25 Dec 1899 in Butler County, NE. All three of their children were born in Nebraska, but the family, after a short stay in Arkansas, moved to Pasadena, CA. The children of Musetta and Herbert are - Milton E. Bunting (1907-1966) John R. Bunting (1908-1973) Lois Charlotte Bunting Fletcher (1914-1990) Herbert died on 12 Mar 1957 and Musetta never remarried. She died on 28 Jul 1969 in Whitter, Los Angeles County, CA Here is Musetta's obituary Star News, Pasadena, CA, July 30, 1969 Bunting - Musetta Bunting, passed away, July 28,1969. She had been a resident of Pasadena 41 years, residing at 522 North Nealo; survived by one daughter, Lois C. Fletcher of Huntington Beach, one son, John R. Bunting; a sister, Nellie Carpenter of Walnut Grove; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Services 10:30 am today at Pico Rivera Funeral Chapel. Interment- Mountain View Cemetery, Altadena.
