Bio

Mary Gibbs Grubaugh was born 19 May 1883 in Omaha, Douglas, NE to William Jefferson Grubaugh and Josephine Abney. She married Henry Walter Gelston on 12 Jun 1901 in the Omaha area and spent her entire life in Nebraska, spending most of that time in Elkhorn. They celebraed nearly 52 years together before Mary died on 26 May 1953. Mary and Henry had two children, both daughters, and both are buried in Elk City Cemetery - Consuello C. Gelston Morris (1904-1996), and Clare Gelston (1907-1995).
