Seward Independent (Seward, Nebr.), December 25, 1946, p. 7, col. 5 & 6 OBITUARY Mrs. Mary Cidlik, widow of John Cidlik, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Styskal at Bee, Nebr., on Dec. 17th, 1946, at the age of 91 years, one month and 12 days. Funeral services were held in St. Wenceslaus Catholic church at Bee at 1 0 a.m., Dec. 19th, with Rev. Michael Pazourek in charge of the requiem high mass. Interment was in the Dwight cemetery. The pallbearers were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Emil Hromas, Ivan Cidlik, Alfred Cidlik, Raymond Hromas, James Mashek and Bernard Kobza. In 1880, with her husband and six weeks old daughter Anna, she came to the United States, locating on a farm in Saunders county, near Weston. In 1900 they moved to Butler county, near Loma, where her husband passed away in 1909. Mrs. Cidlik remained on the farm until 1941, and spent the remaining years with Mr. and Mrs. Styskal. Surviving are her nine children, four sons and five daughters, John, Frank Anton and Adolph, all of Dwight, Nebr.; Mrs. Anna Hromas of Dwight, Mrs. Mary Prech of Ulysses, Mrs. Victoria Styskal of Bee, Mrs. Frances Cink of Ledgerwood, No. Dak., Mrs. Emma Hirmon of Denver, Colo.; also fifteen grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. __ Card of Thanks We wish to express our deep gratitude and sincere appreciation to neighbors, relatives and friends for their comfort, sympathy, and many deeds of kindness in our bereavement occasioned by the death of our beloved mother, Mrs. Mary Cidlik. We sincerely thank all those who evidenced their appreciation and esteem with the many floral and spiritual offerings. We are especially grateful to the Rev. Michael Pazourek for services offered.
