Married (1) February 23, 1905 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Brainard, Nebr. Married (2) Barney Prech on October 5, 1922 at Osceola, Nebr. by a County Judge. MARY PRECH Mrs. Mary Prech, daughter of Jan and Mary Cidlik, was born Nov. 10, 1886 on a farm west of Weston, Nebr., and died after a lingering illness at her home in Ulysses on March 4, 1962. She was married to Anton Divis on Febr. 22, 1905 at Brainard. To this union three children were born: Helen, Della and James. Her husband was killed by lightning at Walthill on June 27, 1919. She married Barney Prech of David City on Oct. 5, 1922. They moved to Ulysses in 1924 where they resided. Mr. Prech died Dec. 7, 1961. Funeral services were held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Ulysses on March 7. The services were conducted by Rev. Msgr. G. J. Schuster. Rosary was at the Knott Funeral home, and burial was in St. Mary's cemetery at Ulysses. She is survived by a daughter, Della Kobza, son, James Divis of Ulysses; sisters, Mrs. Fred Divis of Bee, Mrs. John Cink of Lidgerwood, N.D., and Mrs. Melik Hirmon of Denver, Colo; brothers, John, Frank and Anton Cidlik of Dwight and Adolph Cidlik of David City; grandchildren, Bernard, Joe B. and Bob of Ulysses, Mary Ellen Dobesh of Seward, James Divis of Japan, Wayne Divis of Okinawa and ten great-grandchildren. She was a member of the ZABJ lodge since June 14, 1914. Serving as pallbearers were two grandsons, Bernard and Joe B. Kobza and nephews, Ivan, Irvin, Alfred Cidlik and Emil Hromas. Relatives attending the funeral from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. John Cink and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Heley of Lidgerwood, No. Dak.
