The Columbus Telegram (Columbus, Nebraska) 31 May 1973, Thu Page 23 John Cidlik , 91, died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital in Schuyler. Services will be 9 a.m. Saturday at the Assumption Church in Dwight. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Cidlik was born July 29, 1881 in Saunders County to John and Mary (Bajanovsky) Cidlik, Sr. He married Julia Pelan in Brainard. A longtime Dwight area resident, Mr. Cidlik lived in the Frances Gray Home in David City and a Clarkson home in recent years. He leaves a son, Joseph, of Salem, Mo., two brothers, Antone of Dwight and Adolph of David City; three sisters, Mrs. Fred (Victoria) Divis of Bee, Mrs. John (Frances) Cink of Ledgewood, N.D. and Mrs. Milik (Emma) Hirman of Denver, Colo.; and seven grandchildren. Mr. Cidlik was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brother Frank, two sisters, Anna and Mary, and a grandson.
