Bio

Jesse Franklin Penton Jr., 61, died Thursday evening at a local hospital. Mr. Penton was a native and lifelong resident of Florida. He was a retired Leaderman with Armstrong Corp and a member of the Harold Assembly of God Church. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Penton of Milton; two daughters, Joan McLeod and Faye Chandler, both of Pensacola; two step sons, Reginald Brcok and Jack Brock, both of Pensacola; mother Theresa Penton of Pensacola; one sister, Vermell Wozniak of Pensacola; three brothers, Columbus Penton, Alvin Penton, and Rev. Lonnie Penton, all of Pensacola; three grandchildren; 16 step grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the Trinity Tabernacle Church with Rev. Billy Smith and Rev. Johnny Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the Bayview Memorial Park Cemetery. (printed in the Pensacola News Journal)
