Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral. The Rev. Robert Foster will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be...at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home... Mr. Nealon was born July 23, 1902, in Greeley County, the son of Patrick and Ellen Nester Nealon. He grew up and received his education there. He married Anna Trela on April 10, 1922, at Spalding. They farmed in Greeley County until 1962, when they moved to Grand Island. He worked at Jake's Bakery and the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant until retiring in 1974. He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral parish. Survivors include his wife; a son, Donald of St. Libory; four daughters, Mrs. John (Patricia) Meister of Grand Island, Mrs. Robert (Bette) Welch of Santa Clara, Calif., and Mrs. Robert (Mary) Baker and Mrs. Jack (Peggy) Higgins, both of Grand Island; 24 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Ellen Grossart of Wolbach. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanette, two grandsons and four brothers.
