OBITUARY in The Morning Call, Allentown, Pa., Fri., Aug. 26, 2016: Agnes R. Yandle, 95, of Emmaus, went home to be with the Lord, Wed., Aug. 24, 2016 in her home. She was the widow of William J. Yandle, who passed away in 2010. Born in Emmaus, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Amelia (Szomorovsky) Tomasovic. She was a sewing machine operator at various factories in Emmaus. Agnes was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, the Women's Club, and the Rosary Society. She was the last survivor of 17 children, and enjoyed gardening, especially her roses. Survivors: sons, William R. and his wife Jacqueline, Jerome A., Anthony J. and his wife Linda, and James M.; daughters, Bonita Rhodes, Sheila R. Medernach and her husband Jonathan, and JoAnn M. Yandle and her companion Mark Sabier; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Christina Pollock, who passed away August 21st, and a daughter-in-law, Mary Yandle, in 2010. Services: Prayer Service 10:15 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29th at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Emmaus. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Emmaus. A viewing will be held Monday 9-10:15 a.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
