Frances R. Schaeffer, 84, of Emmaus, died on Thursday, April 9, 2015, surrounded by her family, in the home of her son Daniel. Her husband, LaVerne B. Schaeffer died on July 16, 2007. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Anthony M. and Amelia M. (Szomorovsky) Tomasovic. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Emmaus. Survivors: Daughter, Anita Hoffert of Emmaus; Sons, David Schaeffer and his fiancé Kim Tortorelli of Nanticoke, Kenneth Schaeffer and his wife Mary of Macungie, and Daniel Schaeffer and his wife Deborah of Emmaus; Sister, Agnes Yandle; 6 Grandsons; and 7 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 3 Angels in Heaven, Patricia, Michael and Linwood Schaeffer. Services: Memorial, 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm Street, Emmaus. A visitation will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home.
