Emily F. Hofstetter, 85, of Coopersburg, died January 3, 2008 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was the widow of the late Robert F. Hofstetter, Sr. Born in Emmaus; she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Amelia (Szomorovoski) Tomasovic. She worked as a dietician aide for the former Mt. Trexler Nursing Home for many years until its closing. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Limeport, and its Altar and Rosary Society. Survivors: Sons, Robert F. Hofstetter, Jr. of Emmaus, Thomas F. Hofstetter of Boston and Baltimore, and Michael F. Hofstetter of Coopersburg; Daughter, Rosemarie, wife of Terry Lanning of Center Valley; Daughter-in-law, Beth; Sisters, Agnes Yandle of Emmaus, Bette Iobst of Emmaus, and Frances Schaeffer of Emmaus; Brother, George of California; Grandchildren, Robert John,Dawn, Amilyn, Valerie, Merissa, Alex, Trevor, Christy, Susan, Travis, Jackie, Janessa, and Emily; and 5 Great Grandchildren. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 7, 2008 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5050 St. Joseph Road, Limeport. Viewing 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the church.
