Bio
Bennie Marie Zajicek, 72, of Bryan, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012, in a Bryan hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with the Rev. Johnnie Kueker officiating. Burial will be at the Hope Lutheran Memorial Park in Buckholts. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until service time Friday morning. Bennie Marie was born in West, Texas, to the late Frank and Frances Antonia (Sinkule) Nors. She married Walter Anton Zajicek in 1961 and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her brother, Laddie Nors. Survivors include her husband, Walter Zajicek, of Bryan; son, Gene Zajicek and wife, Jana, of Bryan; grandsons, Clint Zajicek and Garrett Zajicek; sisters, Martha Slovak and husband, Eugene, and Mary Ann Walker, all of West; and mother-in-law, Lillie Zajicek of Buckholts Waco Tribune-Herald: 6/28/2012
