Betty Fajkus Marek, Find A Grave Contributor 48445083 Mr. Ladislaus (Laddie) F. Nors, age 65 of Bellmead, passed away Friday morning, November 26, 1999 at his residence. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellmead with the Rev. Timothy Vaverek as celebrant. Burial followed in Fatima Cemetery in Abbott. Mr. Nors was born May 25, 1934 near West and had lived in the West, Elm Mott and Bellmead area all of his life. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellmead, S.P.J.S.T. Lodge #66 and he graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic School in West. He was employed with the Texas Highway Dept. for 13 years, Texas Power and Light Co. for 12 years and had been retired for the past 11 years. He married Mary Ann Matus January 30, 1976 in Waco. Mr. Nors is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Nors of Bellmead; one son, David Nors and his wife, Kerri of West; one daughter, Rebecca Sparks and her husband, Ricky of Cross Plains; three sisters, Mrs. Eugene (Martha) Slovak of West, Mrs. Walter (Bennie Marie) Zajicek of Bryan and Mrs. Billy (Mary Ann) Walker of Bellmead and three grandsons, Austin Sparks, Travis Sparks and Nathan Nors. Active pallbearers were Ken Williamson, Shawn Walker, Bernie Slovak, Benny Matus and Albin Matus, Jr. Kotch Funeral Home in West was in charge of arrangements.
