Bio

Edmund was the son of Mr. and Mrs Charles Zich of Needville, TX, he attended Richmond High School and entered the Army in 1943. He trained at Camp Wolters, TX and served in North Africa and Italy. He was wounded in Italy. Edmond was awarded a Bronze Star Medal, two Purple Hearts, Combat Infantryman Badge, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 3 campaign stars, Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. He was dischaged in 1945.
