Fort Bend Herald, July 7, 2009: Annabelle Miller, 89, passed away Monday, June 29, 2009, in Bellville. Funeral services will be announced at a later date. She was born Aug. 3, 1919, in Fort Bend County, the daughter of Charles and Annie Miller Zich. Annabelle spent her life as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She worked in the grocery business until she retired. After retirement, she continued working becoming a babysitter for several families. Annabelle lived in Needville most of her life, before moving to Bellville in 2005, to be near her daughter, Alicia. Annabelle loved her family and cherished the time spent with them. She was an active member of the Needville Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Willie, John and Edmund Zich; and sister, Lillie Zich. She is survived by her children, Alicia Smith of Brenham, Charles Drumm of Needville, and Edmund Drumm of Bryan; brother, Wallace Zich of Germany; sister, Leona Knight of Corpus Christi; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to Needville Methodist Church, 8606 Church St., Needville, Texas 77461. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Schmidt Funeral Home, 12029 Highway 36 in Bellville, 979-865-2424. Note: Married Alden Earl Drumm (1909-1984) on February 1, 1941; they divorced on July 9, 1976. She married Felix David Miller on April 6, 1979.
