Bio

Daughter of Hubert & Paulina (Wieser) Bernt. She grew up on the farm in Polk County and attended country schools. She married Marion Kubas on April 11, 1961 in Silver Creek. She was a homemaker and enjoyed going to the horse races with her husband. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Silver Creek. She is survived by: Husband Marion Kubas of Silver Creek, NE Brother Albin Bernt of Columbus, NE Brother Marvin Bernt of Shelby, NE Brother Wilfred Bernt of Monroe, NE Sister Elaine Burritt of Lincoln, NE Sister Iona Hastings of Nebraska City, NE Sister Delores Korger of Shelby, NE Sister Huberta Schaf of Columbus, NE Sister Marcella Zelasney of Osceola, NE She is preceded in death by her parents.
