Bio

Marion died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at his home in Silver Creek. Marion Charles Kubas was born June 14, 1934 in Silver Creek, Nebraska to Charles W. and Melania M. (Lisko) Kubas. He acquired his education in the Silver Creek school system and graduated from Silver Creek High School. He served in the Army Transportation Company "Road Runners" and was stationed in Germany from May 1957 December 1958. He married Irene Anna Bernt on April 11, 1961 at St. Lawrence Church in Silver Creek. Marion was engaged in the transportation of sand and gravel. His hobbies included duck and deer hunting, gardening and attending the horse races. Marion is survived by cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Irene.
