Veteran of World War II. Served in the United States Army Air Force as a Staff Sergeant in Algeria, French Morocca, Tunisia, Sicily, Naples, Foggia, Rome and Arno. Preceded in death by his parents, John Rusk and Sudie Whiteside Stooksberry; twin daughter, Suzette Menchaca; sister, Mary Weems; and brothers, Hershel, Hubert, Easton and Jim Stooksberry. Marriage: December 24, 1946 - Commerce, Hunt, Texas
