Bio

The Wolbach (Nebraska) Messenger, August 17, 1967: Lloyd Kinney Rites Held in Ord Friday Funeral services for Lloyd Kinney, 70, were held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Hastings-Pearson Chapel in Ord with the Rev. Charles Flickinger of Scotia officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery at Scotia. Mr. Kinney died Wednesday at a Grand Island hospital. He was born November 12, 1896 at Wolbach to Alton and Sarah Kinney. On December 21, 1916, he married Jane Best at Fullerton. They lived in Scotia since 1960. Prior to that they lived on a farm northeast of Scotia. Survivors include his widow; daughter, Mrs. Evelyn West of Grand Island; son Robert from Norfolk; five grandchildren; a brother George of St. Paul; four sisters, Mrs. Edna Johnston of Wolbach, Mrs. Anna Bucy of Tingley, Iowa, Mrs. Mabel Olson of Greeley and Mrs. Inez Trosper of Lincoln. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
