From the Wolbach (Nebraska) Messenger, September 30, 1965, page 1, transcribed by Linda Berney: Archie Kinney, 62, died Tuesday, Sept. 21 at his home at 4710 Blum Rd., Martinez, California after a long illness.... Burial was in the Memory Gardens Cemetery at Concord, California. Mr. Kinney was born April 15, 1903 at Wolbach, Nebraska and grew to manhood in this community. He was a resident of Martinez, California for the past 25 years, where he was a carpenter in that area. He is survived by his wife, Nora; three sons, Lyle of Pittsburg, California; Marvin of Walnut Hill, California and Archie Jr. of Antioch, California; a daughter, Mrs. Beulah Reasoner of Concord, California; five stepsons; one stepdaughter; two brothers, George Kinney and Lloyd Kinney of Scotia; five sisters, Mrs. Albert Trosper of Lincoln, Mrs. Dick Bucy of Tingly, Iowa, Mrs. Edie Bilyeu of Casper, Wyoming, Mrs. Mabel Wagner and Mrs. Wm. Johnston of Wolbach; and ten grandchildren.
