Word was received here today of the dangerous condition of Mrs. Hattie Jeffres at Norfolk and very little hope is entertained for her recovery. . . . The Greeley Citizen, Greeley, Nebraska · Friday, November 28, 1913 pg 5 DIED Word was received here Tuesday afternoon from Norfolk that Mrs. Perry Jeffres could not live long, and her sons left at once for that city. Mrs, Jeffres died at 8 a. m. Wednesday, and the body was shipped home for burial. The funeral will probably be held at 9 o'clock this (Friday) morning from the home of her son Royce, west of town, with burial at Scotia beside the body of her husband. Obituary notice next week. Note: The obituary has not been found that is said would be in the next weeks paper. Headstone shows death day as 28 but death was on the 26th. Leader-Independent, Greeley, Nebraska · Thursday, December 18, 1913 pg 1 Resolutions Resolutions of sympathy passed by Century Camp 2086, R. N. A., Greeley, Neb., at their regular meeting, Dec. 11, 1913. Whereas Our Heavenly Father has called from our midst our beloved neighbor, Hattie Jeffres, We, the members of Centre Camp 2086 R. N. A., bow our heads in sorrow with the bereaved relatives and we humbly pray that good will soothe the hearts of the afflicted ones. Therefore be it Resolved that we the members of Centre Camp 2086 R. N. A. in lodge assembled, extend to the bereaved relatives and friends our heartfelt sympathy. And be it further Resolved that these resolutions be made a part of our records and that copies be sent to the local press for publication. Also that our charter be draped for thirty days.
