Bio

Beverly, daughter of Ervin and Mae Phelps, graduated from Beadle High School at Madison in 1947. She began working in the Lake County Register of Deeds office in September and worked there until about a month before her death, when she became ill. After stays at Madison Community Hospital and a hospital in Rochester, MN, she returned to Madison and resided with Della and John Cassutt, where she was given special care until her death. Her body laid in state at the Cassutt home. Funeral services were held at the Cassutt home and at First Presbyterian Church.
