Bio

Services will be held Saturday for Mrs. O C "Aline" Newbury, 76, of Alvarado who passed away August 21 in a Cleburne Nursing Home. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday in the Center Point Cemetery. Mrs. Newbury, a six-month resident of Cleburne, and a prior resident of Junction and Kerrville for 17 years was born March 25, 1909, in Anderson County. She was a Baptist. Survivors include her daughter, Wynnona Sutton of Alvarado; son, C J Newbury of Junction; sister, Ora Alsobroks of Percilla; brothers, Doyle Prater of Houston, Fred Prater of Slocum, and Kenneth Prater of Gladewater, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Grimes Funeral Chapels.
