Bio
Kenneth was the son of Carter Cicero Prater and Sarah Jane Liles Prater. He was born and raised in Slocum, Anderson, Texas. He was in the service in the Korean War. Worked on a barge out of Houston Ship Yard. Worked and retired from Gulf Oil Company. Married Lorita Walling from Elkhart, Texas, Feb 14, 1955. They had one son Forest W. Prater. Kenneth and Lorita moved to Colorado in 1983-1984 to be near their son. His siblings were; Maurice Rayford, Jake C., Addie, Fred, Doyle E., and Ora. Parents and siblings (all but two) buried at; Strongs Memorial Park, Slocum, Texas. Kenneth was a kind and generous man that loved his family. I am part of that family.
