Evelyn Fields Evelyn Fields, age 49, died Tuesday, Sept 15, 1998 in Wellington. Graveside services will be held at 7:30 am Thursday, Sept 17, 1998 in North Fairview Cemetery with Rev Tom Lewis, pastor of the Fundamental Baptist Church, officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home. Born August 16, 1949, to James W and Mvrtle Thomas Fields, in Wellington, she attended school in Wellington She was a homemaker and had also owned and operated a "Bedroom and Drapery Shop." Evelyn married Leonard Paul Boyce on May 29, 1965. She later married Randall Johnson and in 1980 she married Roger Dale Browning. Evelyn was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Wellington. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Carol in 1969. Survivors include a son and his wife, Shane and Carol Boyce of Norman, OK; a daughter and her husband, Mary Ann and Wayne Ward of Vernon; a sister, Neva Jeffrey of Wellington; two brothers; A L Fields of Texas and James D Fields of Iowa Park; Seven grandchildren, Kaylie Ward, Lauren Ward. Clint Ward, Megan Ward, all of Vernon; Sarah Boyce of Amarillo, Shane Paul Boyce Jr, and Ryan Boyce both of Norman, OK. The family suggests memorials be made to the Faith Baptist Church or the Wellington Cemetery Association. The Wellington Leader Thursday, September 17, 1998
