She was born 13 Nov 1907 in Franklin, a dau of Raymond I & Maude Ramsey Tidd. She spent much of her life in Franklin & was retired in 1970 from Polk Center where she worked as a MRA. She was a member of the First Baptist Church-Franklin & formerly sang in the church choir. She was first married to Donald Battin & on 28 Sep 1974 she wed Glenn Burns who survives along with 9 children: Joan Ritchey-LaPalma CA; Lois (sp-Fred) Dawes-Rockland; Pauline Jones & Barbara (sp-Budd) Rice-both Seneca; Betty (sp-DW) Rowan-Meadville; Eleanor (sp-Earl) Allen-Cochranton; Shirley (sp-Raymond) Higby-SugarCreek; Florence (sp-William) Townley-Cambridge Springs; Donald Battin Jr-Cochranton; 4 bros: Lawrence Tidd-Orlando FL; Harold & Samuel Tidd-Franklin; Richard Tidd-Chicago IL; 26 grandchildren; 17 gr grandchildren. One son-Jack Edward Battin died 19 Oct 1971. Interment in Rockland Cem-Franklin.
