Miss Emma Pearl Nelson Funeral services for Miss Emma Pearl Nelson, 94, of Florien, were held at 2 p.m., on Sunday, Feb. 23, 1997. Services were held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. The Revs. J. D. Brown, and Roy Dowden officiated. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Miss Nelson died Saturday, Feb. 22, 1997, at IHS. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends. Pallbearers were Lester Savell, Pat Nelson, Edward Speight, Michael Nelson, Lloyd Savell, Dean Nelson, Louis Nelson, and Cedric Speight.
