Margaret Ellen (West) McCullough (February 20, 1865 - January 23, 1953) The Lusk Herald January 29, 1953 Mrs. McCullough, 88, Dies Friday Mrs. Margaret McCullough, who would have been 88 years old on the 20th of Feb., died at the Memorial hospital, Jan. 23 after an extended illness. She had been a resident of Wyoming for 43 years and of the town of Lusk for more than 30 years. Margaret Ellen McCullough was born in Armstrong County Pennsylvania, Feb. 20, 1965 and on Nov. 14, 1884 she was married to William S. McCullough at Perrysville, Pa. They became the parents of eight children, all of whom survive their parents, Mr. McCullough having died several years ago. The family came to Wyoming in 1910 and homesteaded in the Lance Creek community. Survivors are her eight children, Mrs. W. Schneider of Ft. Collins, Colo., David R. McCullough and Mrs. Edyth Traphagan of Lusk, Mrs. Ed Marsh of Wellington, Colo., Mrs. Nora Cordell and Mrs. Bertha Boriskie of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Frances Williamson, Wheatland, and Leonard A. McCullough, Moorcroft., 12 grandchildren and 19 great grand-children. All of the children with the exception of Mrs. Williamson were here for the services. Funeral services were conducted from the Peet Chapel on Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock with the Rev. Jacob Nein, pastor of the Congregational church officiating. Music was rendered by Mrs. Edna DeCastro, Miss Juanita Cork, Miss Marlene James and Rex Yocum, accompanied by Mrs. J.P. Watson. The songs were "Safe In the Arms of Jesus" and "This World is Not My Home." Interment was in the Lusk cemetery. Honorary casket bearers were H. J. Templeton, Chas. Hitshew, Frank Paschal, Frank Moore, Floyd Moore and Mr. Brenner. Active bearers were James Krejci, Otto Krekeler, Harleigh Johnson, Eddie Marks, C.W.
