Anna Watry Chilton Times October 23, 1926 Mrs. Dominic Watry passed away at her home in Stockbridge on Saturday afternoon after a lingering illness. Anna Sampont was born at Port Washington, Jan. 9, 1865. She was married there in 1885 to Dominic Watry and they began housekeeping on his farm in South Stockbridge, where she lived until called by death. Mrs. Watry was a good Christian woman, one whose many excellent qualities were known and appreciated in the neighborhood in which she lived for many years. She was an active member of St. Elizabeth's congregation and did her share in the advancement of the church. The funeral was held on Wednesday morning from St. Elizabeth's church, Rev. Fr. J. H. Huhn officiating at a Requiem Mass and burial was made in the family lot in St. Elizabeth's cemetery. She is survived by her husband, four daughters, Mrs. Math Schafer of Stockbridge, Mrs. Theo Jacky of Calumet, Mrs. Geo. C. Gruber of Chilton, Mrs. John E. Schmit of Port Washington, and seven sons, Edward of Sherwood, Adolph and Emil of Stockbridge, Isadore of Fond du Lac, Ado and Victor at home and Henry of Sheboygan. One son, Charles, preceded his mother in death a year ago. She also leaves five brothers, four sisters and twenty-two grandchildren.
