SPRINGTOWN - Edward Joseph "Eddie" Zaidle, a retired General Dynamics fireman, died Wednesday at an Azle hospital. He was 73. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Community Bible Fellowship Church near Reno, where he was a member. Burial will be in Springtown Cemetery. White's Funeral Home in Springtown is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Zaidle was born in Crisp and lived in Springtown for 46 years. He was with General Dynamics for 34 years before retiring. Survivors: Wife of 51 years, Mary Zaidle of Springtown; two sons, Dale Zaidle of Springtown and Don Zaidle of Boonesville; daughter, Donna Chesney of Springtown; two brothers, George Zaidle of Springtown and Bill Zaidle of Ennis; two sisters, Ann Anderson and Vicky Gillis, both of Dallas; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
