WATAUGA - George Albert Zaidle Sr., 71, a retired painter, died Wednesday, April 26, 2000, in Grapevine. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel in Watauga. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. George Albert Zaidle Sr. was born on June 22, 1928, in Crisp, Texas. He was a man who loved his wife and family. He was a very hardworking person who retired from University Gardens after 21 years of service. He touched many lives through his years. He loved the outdoors. Survivors: Wife of 38 years, Linda Zaidle; sons, David Smith and his wife, Kathy, George Zaidle and his wife, Alice, and John Zaidle and his wife, Tracey; daughters, Debbie Anderson and her husband, Johnny, and Elizabeth Annis and her husband, David; sisters, Vicki Gillis and Ann Anderson; 14 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
