Bio
Gladys Hughen Boykin, age 83, a native of Robertsdale and a resident of Loxley died Monday, May 7, 2012. Mrs. Boykin enjoyed fishing, gardening and family time. She is survived by two daughters, Ann (Paul) Heyer of Loxley, AL and Rita (Terry) Manning of Wilmer, AL; two sons, Richard Earl (Fay) Boykin, Sr. of Lucedale, MS and Lee Andrew Boykin of Wilmer, AL; daughter-in-law, Sissy Boykin of Robertsdale, AL; two brothers, Jake Lowery and Donnie Hughen both of Robertsdale, AL; eight grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 11, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Willie Smith officiating. Burial will be in Rock Cemetery in Robertsdale. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday at Mack Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Covenant Hospice, 1040 Stanton Road, Suite D, Daphne, AL 36526. Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, Hwy. 59, Robertsdale, AL.
