Gravesite details
Upright individual stones mounted on a triple base with a 'name' stone and a square flower vase in the middle, placed at the head of 2 full size slabs. All appears to be made of granite. Walter also has a standard small rectangular military stone.
Bio
Walter E. Lowery Sr., 85, died Thursday, July 26, 2007. He was a native of Robertsdale and a longtime resident and farmer in the Rosinton community. Lowery served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Survivors include his wife, a son, a sister, two brothers, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale. Burial will be in Old Cooper Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 19059 Greeno Road, Suite A, Fairhope, AL 36532. Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale.
