Bio

FLORENCE L. CROENI A memorial service for Florence L. Croeni will be 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Bethany Baptist Church, with burial in Skyline Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Croeni died Saturday of cancer in her Hillsboro home. She was 75. She was born in Bethany on Sept. 18, 1918. She was a homemaker and for 26 years was a school bus driver for Beaverton School District 48. She was a member of the Bethany Community Church, but attended the Bethany Baptist Church with her husband, Elmer, for the duration of their 54-year marriage. In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Lorraine Householder of Yamhill and Linda Knowles of Bend; four brothers, Wilbur and Harvey Stoller, both of Dayton, Earl Stoller of Aurora, and Elmer Stoller of Independence; one sister, Elsie Dickerson of Camas, Wash.; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Bethany Baptist Church.
